Plastic Inlet Valve

In mining operations, even the smallest component can play an important role in getting the job done efficiently.

Proto Lab SA manufactures inlet valves designed for concrete-filled mining bags.

The valve is fitted into an opening in the bag, providing a secure connection point for the pipe used to pump concrete into the bag. Once filling is complete and the pipe is removed, the valve closes to help prevent the concrete from flowing back out.

A simple but essential component designed for demanding mining applications.

How It Works:

• Valve is fitted to the concrete/mining bag

• Pumping pipe connects to the inlet

• Concrete is pumped directly into the bag
• Pipe is removed once the required fill is reached
• Valve helps retain the concrete inside the bag
